Dayton Miami Valley AFL-CIO

Council writes and visits members from our Congressional Districts in Ohio and US Senators.  We maintain contact with the state legislative representatives from Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren Counties.  We received recognition from the National AFL-CIO Legislative Office for our efforts.  We lobby for, give testimony about and obtained many resolutions from city and county commissions and councils throughout our 12 county region supporting our members positions on strikes and worker related issues.
